Getting here tot he Tuxertal

By car
Take the A12 Inntal motorway, turn off at the Zillertal/Wiesing exit, get on the B169 to Mayrhofen, then take the Tux country road to Hintertux (50 km from the Zillertal motorway exit to Hintertux). The Tux country road from Mayrhofen to Hintertux offers good driving conditions throughout the year. Snow chains must bi attached in cases of freh snofall.

By train
Jenbach/Tirol express train station, Zillertalbahn (railway or bus) to Mayrhofen, from there take the Austrian Post bus service from Mayrhofen to Hintertux.

By plane
Paris-Innsbruck, Amsterdam-Innsbruck, London-Innsbruck (zB Sky Europe, GB Airways,…) Also from varios German cities ther are direct connections to Innbruck or Munich. Distance from Innsbruck Airport to Hintertux: approx. 90 km. The local taxi companies offer flat rates fort he transfer from Innsbruck Airport to Hintertux.
