This is a place where you have time to find your inner self. This is time you can really enjoy with family or friends.
First-class vacation - a well-deserved break
The culinary arts also play an important role in our hotel, and we are very proud to have been awarded several times! You can enjoy a 360° view of the mountains along with style, wellness, and sports, and if you stick your hand out the window, you can almost touch the Hintertux Glacier!
We are already very much in love with our mountains here, and anyone who has been here before can understand. The Berghof is your luxurious home base whether pure nature enjoyment in summer and winter, indoor and outdoor sports experiences, or 1,700 m² of wellness at an elevation of 1,500 m!
By the way, there are 4 of us here. Ferdinand, the head of the house, Ann-Marie, your enthusiastic hostess, and daughter Anna look after your happiness and comfort. Son Bastian can be found in the kitchen, where he creates culinary delights. Of course, we are also energetically supported by our sensational Berghof team.

Vacation diary
Pure nature, a magnificent forest climate, the purest mountain air, and the opportunity to reach great heights. That’s why I booked my vacation at the Berghof. A perfect day of skiing is behind me. At an elevation seemingly in the clouds, I swim in a 25 m long pool (this is the distance of swimming world championships!). Only giant panoramic, glass walls separate me from the eternal ice of the glacier. I feel like I’m swimming in the middle of a glacier.
In my lounger next to the heated outdoor pool and hot tub, I toast to the “new Berghof” with a glass of Austrian Winzersekt in my hand. The giant ice formations of the glacier, to which I raise my glass, are my companions. Only my cozy bathrobe reminds me that I am enjoying this luxury on the sunny rooftop terrace of the Berghof.
At this altitude, the sun was particularly strong again today, and the light wind could also be felt. My skin is dry after a wonderful day of skiing under the deep blue sky. Now it’s time to head to the Crystal Spa! Awaiting me here is an innovative treatment concept. “The combination of all ingredients from the high alpine herbs and plants around the Hintertux Glacier ensures that your body optimally absorbs substance that you lack”, explains the head of the house. A truly beneficial and soothing pleasure!
The “energy filling station” at the Berghof is the restaurant. Food not only serves its basic purpose here but is also a genuine, mouth-watering delight. The ingredients come mostly from farmers and suppliers in the “Genussregion” in Tyrol, but international classics are also on the menu. The Berghof has been awarded with 2 stars by the Austrian "à la carte guide"!
Night is falling. I am staying in one of the 20 new rooms. The tile stove emits a cozy warmth. I open the window between the sleeping area and the bathroom. The light of the moon shines through the large panoramic windows. I lie in the bathtub and gaze at the clear, starry sky. Between the North Star and the Big Dipper, “he” salutes me for the last time today: the might Hintertux Glacier wishes me a “good night”. And I know – just like me, he is looking forward to a new day at the Berghof…
