Thanks to modern ascent assistance: Eggalmbahn, Finkenberger Almbahnen and Hintertuxer glacier every mountain fan can experience the beauty of the high Alpine nature.The hiking bus is the free, convenient way to take you through the Tuxertal valley. The bus stop ist situated just in front of the hotel.

The Berghof Hiking Specials... Backpacks and hiking poles, hiking and excursion maps... are at your disposal for the duration of your stay at the Berghof - free of charge! We also offer 5 - 10 guided hikes per week (from Monday to Friday) during the summer months (July and August). A private hiking cuide accompanies you to the most beautiful mountains of the Tux Valley. More information about the guided hikes are available at our reception.
The free hiking shuttle bus will take you through the valley - the bus station is right in front of our hotel. The hiking taxi will take you to high-altitude starting points for many hikes.
Climbing with the mountaineering school and mountain guides - the green glacier valley offers unparalleled and unique high Alpine tours for all climbing friends, such as across the Tux Icefall, Olperer (3,470 m), crossing the Alps, climbing the northerin ridge of the Hohe Riffler (3,231 m).
