From beginning of December to mid-April, the 6 Zillertal ski mountains – the Hintertux Glacier, Eggalm, Rastkogel, Finkenberg, Penken/Mayrhofen, and Ahorn – come together to form a superlative ski area with guaranteed snow.

Ski bus stop across from the Berghof
In the winter months (ca. Mid-December to ca. Mid-April), the free ski bus runs every 10 minutes on this route: Mayrhofen - Rastkogelbahn - Hintertuxer Gletscherbahn. The bus stop is located right across from our hotel, and it will take you comfortably to the valley station in only a few minutes.

With just one ski pass, skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts can enjoy around 196 km of the best prepared slopes of all difficulty levels in the Ski- & Gletscherwelt 3000 from an elevation of 630 m up to a breathtaking 3,250 m on the Hintertux Glacier! From the challenging and diverse Eggalm, you can seamlessly head to the sunny plateau of the Rastkogel and continue on a panoramic ski run or the Pendelbahn 150er Tux to the Penken. Or you can take the route via the valley runs to Hintertux, Vorderlanersbach, or Lanersbach… the choice is yours!
